Dreamland Bar-B-Que

Dreamland Bar-B-Q is located at 1427 14th Avenue South in the Five Points South neighborhood of the Southside community is the Birmingham location of the Tuscaloosa based bar-b-q restaurant. John Bishop opened the original Tuscaloosa restaurant in 1958 at 5535 15th Avenue East, and it has since become a culinary icon and destination for bar-b-q enthusiasts from across the United States. Opening in 1993, the Birmingham location is located just south of the UAB campus and serves the same menu of pork ribs, sauce, and white bread made famous at the Tuscaloosa location. A third location is in Mobile along Old Shell Road.
