Ensley is a large community within the city of Birmingham. Named for founder and promoter Enoch Ensley, the city of Ensley was incorporated into Birmingham in the early 20th century.

Ensley includes the landmark Tuxedo Junction, made famous by Erskine Hawkins' 1939 hit tune of the same name.
