First Metropolitan Baptist Church was a Baptist church located at 2523 4th Avenue South and pastored by Abraham Woods Jr from 1956 to 1966.

Because of its role in the Alabama Christian Movement for Human Rights under Woods's leadership it was recognized as a "movement church" by the Birmingham Historical Society.
