Joy League is a kids' baseball league founded in Homewood in 1958 on the principle that "no one is excluded". Boys and girls from 4 to 10 are accepted into the league, which plays games on Saturday's at Edgewood Elementary School. Starting in 2019, games are played on the fields at Homewood Middle School.
Players are divided into 5 different teams:
- Bucs
- Cards
- Jays
- Sox
- Yanks
Current commissioner is Tim Meehan, who was appointed in 2019. Former commissioners were Perry Akins and Ted Hagler.
