Riverchase United Methodist Church is located at 1953 Old Montgomery Highway in Hoover. The Senior pastor is Dr. Richard Hunter.
The church hosts the Riverchase UMC farmer's market on Thursdays during the season.

History
On June 5, 1980 a 6.6 acre site was purchased by the new congregation. Until a building could be built, Sunday services were held in the Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Alabama building in Riverchase. In 1984, ground was broken for a church building and it was completed in February 1985. In 1991, construction began on a new sanctuary and, after it was completed, the former building was converted into a fellowship hall.
In October 2010, a contractor for the church stripped trees and vegetation from a 7-acre hillside in preparation for additions to the church. In late October, heavy rains sent muddy sediment over temporary erosion control barriers and into neighboring Carl Raines Lake. In March 2011, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management ordered construction halted until an effective erosion control system was installed.
