Southern Water Company (SWC) is a company founded in 2001 by Glenn Herrin to buy and manage small municipal waterworks and wastewater treatment systems. It currently owns several water wells and contracts with municipalities for administrative services and regulatory compliance. It also markets a brand of bottled water through the Red Mountain Beverage Company.

SWC was briefly partnered with Azurix North America, a failed division of the Enron Corporation which was sold to American Water Works in August 2001. SWC work with Daryl Harms a Birmingham Businessman and owner of Masada Oxynol know as the "garbage to gas" company. In 2006 ownership of the company was transferred from Longview Investment Company to Linearstone Holding Corporation, both of which are controlled by Herrin.
