The THC Drive-In was one of two drive-in cinemas and five single-screen cinemas owned and operated by the Thornton Horn Company, aka the Thornton Horn Theatre Company. The company was incorporated by George Thornton and his wife Ray Quinn Thornton, in partnership with their daughter Glenera Thornton Horn and her husband Raymond J. Horn.

Other properties operated by the Thornton Horn Theatre Company included the Gu-Win Drive-In, the Pastime Theatre in Winfield and the Quintown Theatre in Flat Creek.

Glen and R.J. Horn were the maternal grandparents of Glenny Brock.
