Using Wikipedia articles

There is nothing wrong with copying Wikipedia articles to BhamWiki, however, be sure you cite it as a reference and use the GFDL template. I added it to the Garywood Assembly of God article for you, and did a little cleanup. Our audience here would be people who are researching Birmingham topics, so you can delete links and references to Alabama since that is a given. --Wheresdib 10:54, 21 March 2007 (PDT)

  • I think Helmsb was the primary contributor to the Wikipedia article, so we might not strictly need to dual-license or that reference. For what its worth. --Dystopos 11:01, 21 March 2007 (PDT)
  • I did contribute most of the wikipedia article and I know the other gentleman who did most of the rest but I will definitely cite the reference next time. Thank you for pointing that out. As far as the Alabama references it is a habit when I write articles. I will just have to remember next time. Helmsb 12:30, 21 March 2007 (PDT)
