Avenue H Ensley

Avenue H is a business street seven blocks south of the railroad tracks in downtown Ensley. The eastern end of the street continues from Avenue G Ensley in Central Pratt. It continues through South Pratt and Ensley proper, stopping at 35th Street Ensley short of I-59. Between 17th and 21st Street Ensley, Avenue H forms the southern edge of the Downtown Ensley Historic District.

Another section of Avenue H Ensley extends from 41st Street Ensley to 60th Place Ensley at Myron Massey Boulevard, dividing Birmingham's Belview Heights neighborhood on the east from the city of Fairfield on the west. The section between Franklin Avenue and 47th Street Ensley is known as Ridgeway Alley. The avenue is closed between 48th Street Ensley and from 53rd Street Ensley.
