The Diocese of the Central States is the regional division of the Reformed Episcopal Church containing all of Alabama along with seven other states. It was formed in 2008. Its offices are in Moseley, Virginia. Its bishop is Peter F. Manto. The only congregation of the diocese in Alabama is St John's Anglican Church in Chelsea. The Reformed Episcopal Church was formed in 1873, but now functions as a subjurisdiction of the Anglican Church in North America.
