Dippi

Dippi LLC or Dippi Logistics is a liquor delivery service founded in 2021 by Rashad Grimes and headquartered in the Innovation Depot.

Dippi's original business model was intended to take advantage of the Alabama Alcohol Delivery Bill by signing state ABC Stores to exclusive contracts that would also provide consumer information. As the details of the legislation were being sorted out, Grimes began offering deliveries from privately-owned package stores, despite higher costs to the consumer. As the company scrambled, Grimes found a potential niche in deliveries to private businesses that previously had to pick up their own liquor orders from ABC Stores. With that pivot, the business grew rapidly with four employees and 10 contract drivers.
