Discovery BioMed was a biotechnology company founded in 2007 by Erik Schwiebert with technology licensed from the UAB Research Foundation to develop human cell-based drug discovery and development programs.

In 2011 Discovery BioMed became the first company to formally "graduate" from the Innovation Depot incubator program. It moved into space in the Riverhills Business Park off of U.S. Highway 280.

Discovery BioMed was acquired by Eurofins Discovery Panlabs, a division of Eurofins Scientific of Luxembourg in 2022. The research and development activities not included in the acquisition were spun off as AeroNeph Therapeutics.
