Good News Fellowship(GNF) is a network of churches founded in 2000 when 14 churches in Alabama and West Florida that had belonged to the Pennsylvania-based Lancaster Mennonite Conference (LMC) were released to form a new organization. These churches stemmed from missions the LMC began to Alabama in the 1940s. The primary leaders of the GNF’s Birmingham area are Steve Longenecker, Ralph Garth, and Henry Tolbert.
Churches in the Birmingham area include:
- Ambassadors for Christ Church, Gate City
- Faith Chapel Mennonite Church, Cleveland
- Grace & Truth Church
- New Creation Church
- New Victory Church
- New Vision Church, Bessemer
- Straight Mountain Mennonite Church, Springville
- True Vine Evangelical Church, Inglenook
