The Knob Mine is a former surface coal mine accessed from Knob Mine Road southwest of Partidge Crossroads and east of Robbins Crossroads, on the north bank of the Locust Fork River in northern Jefferson County. It has been operated by Drummond Company's ABC Coke division.

In 2021 Denali Water Solutions sprayed bio-sludge from a chicken processor in Arkansas onto the former mine site under permit from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.
