Legacy Community Federal Credit Union is the fourth-largest credit union operating in the Birmingham area. The CEO is S. Glenn Bryan.
It acquired the former Birmingham Federal Employees Federal Credit Union in 2008 and has its main branch at 1400 20th Street South, in the renovated former offices of Charles H. McCauley & Associates.
The credit union has more than $650 million in total assets, with just over 40,000 members.
On December 1, 2022 the company merged with 1st Resource Credit Union.
