The Little Gem Cafe was a restaurant operated by George Kanakas and Thomas Regas in the Simon Building at 221 19th Street North between 1911 and 1920.

In 1915 the restaurant offered a Thanksgiving dinner of turkey broth, Kalamazoo celery, turkey with oyster dressing, cranberry sauce, sweetbread croquettes, sugar corn, creamed potatoes, garden peas, fruit cake with brandy sauce and coffee, tea or milk for 50 cents.

Before 1921 it had moved to 1808 3rd Avenue North, and was owned by Andrew Gatsis. In June 1922 Gatsis was killed by an accidental gunshot in the restaurant. His widow inherited the business.
