Seloca is a former coal mining community between Kimberly and Warrior, east of U.S. Highway 31 and I-65, near Exit 281.
The Seloca Coal Co. operated in the area in the early 1900s. Other operators in the area included the Crescent Coal Co., Atlantic Coal & Coke Co. and the Dixie Fire Brick Co..
