lifelong resident

Not sure how to resolve the obituary's statement that he was a "lifelong resident" with the fact that he was born in 1908 and an A. C. Keily was a resident of Americus, GA at least until 1920. It is possible that father and son were separated, but seems, given that they practiced the same trade, that he moved to Birmingham with his father between 1920 and 1926. --Dystopos 19:12, 5 December 2006 (PST)

age

I would be tempted to credit the Alabama Theatre photo (taken during its construction in 1927) to the elder Keily instead of the 19 year old, but the Americus Times-Record has one of their native sons, an A. C. Keily, dying in Birmingham in 1926, before construction on the Alabama ever started. --Dystopos 19:13, 5 December 2006 (PST)
