Building north?

The only "building north of the exhibit" I know of is the central concession stand. (Once the only concession stand.) See? I always assumed the door built into the hill west of the exhibit — which doesn't show up in the satellite image because of the trees and its small size — was the connection that allowed zoo keepers access to Monkey Island.
