2931 Highland is sometimes given as the address of the Altamont Apartments. A couple of the people who have been described in newspaper stories as residing at that address, such as Jack Pines who helped the Massachusetts Institute of Technology swim team set a new school record in the 300-yard medley relay in 1949, and Floretta Chapelear who filed a missing persons report when he son Harry didn't come home immediately from Lakeview School to watch television at a friend's house in 1951, were likely residents of the apartment building. --Dystopos (talk) 13:13, 17 December 2023 (CST)
