TreeTop Family Adventure
TreeTop Family Adventure was a family entertainment complex located at 2012 Dunnavant Valley Road (Shelby County Highway 41) in Chelsea. It was opened in 2010 by Alex Jones with Richy and Alison Parrish.
The 4.5-acre park included a "Chelsea Speedway" go cart track, a miniature golf course and a "water wars" play area, as well as an 18,500 square-foot building with mini-bowling, laser tag, a video arcade, indoor playground and snack bar.
The owners were involved in a long-running dispute with Shelby County over an access permit for its driveway. The cost of litigating the matter forced the business to close on January 12, 2020.
The former complex and an adjacent parcel were acquired by Mike Mouron of Capstone Real Estate Investments and Nick Pihakis of Pihakis Restaurant Group in 2022 for redevelopment. The resulting project, Valley Post, was set to open in 2024.
