- Thanks for adding the photos of Century Plaza. Can I presume that these are all your work? I need to credit them and specify whether they are released by the owner under our general Creative Commons license, or if they remain under copyright and are used here "by permission." --Dystopos (talk) 06:18, 7 February 2022 (PST)
- I am sorry but these images have been floating around the internet for years. I have have Century pics in my personal files since the closing of the mall started. Please remove them if necessary but I do not know who should receive credit. At some point do these not become public domain? I will make sure that all future posts that include pics will have proper credit attached to them or I will not share them. Thanks.
- We prefer to credit the photographer and I recommend doing so in the future. For these, where it is obviously not possible to just go take our own photos and it's not likely that we're harming anyone else's commercial or privacy interests, I'm not in a rush to remove them (until someone asks me to). You are correct that they will become public domain at some point, but since 1978, that point has been set at 70 years after the death of the creator. --Dystopos (talk) 14:34, 19 May 2022 (PDT)
