The West End Civic Club Council was a civic organization founded in November 1939 "to promote the interests of the West End community."
The group met at the West End Community Center. The first slate of officers included Mrs Howard Lacey, president; Mrs J. R. McLendon, first vice-president; Mrs A. R. Hardy, second vice-president; Mrs W. E. Briggs, secretary; and Mrs W. E. Hall, treasurer.
