Dean and Company is a weekly public access television show produced in Birmingham by the Dougherty and Gagliano families.

The company was founded in 1989 as a video ministry for Crestway Baptist Church. Dana Dean Lesley Dougherty, her husband Pat, and her mother, Daisy Dean Lesley joined with William Arnold and Russ Shirley to learn the basics of video production in a nine-week course offered by Birmingham Cable. Shortly after they launched the church program, they branched off into a secular program to fill a void in the cable company's slate of local programming.

Dana's daughter Lesley Dean Dougherty Gagliano, who was a child of five when the show premiered, now stars as "Deanie" on the show, which features musical performances, comedy skits and on-location vignettes.

Dana's husband, Pat Dougherty, participates behind the scenes. Deanie's husband Charles Gagliano and their children have been featured on the show, along with an ever-changing group of guest performers, predominantly drawn from the members of Crestway Baptist, but also including celebrities such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Randy Travis, Sylvester Stallone and Whoopi Goldberg.

The group produces an annual Dean and Company Christmas Special. The 2009 special was filmed at several area locations such as Cahaba Grand Conference Center and Bottletree. Previous specials have featured Riverchase Galleria and other local landmarks.

The weekly half-hour show airs on Brighthouse. The hour long Christmas special has aired on various outlets, including Brighthouse on Demand, Charter Cable, AT&T U-Verse, WOTM and WTTO.
