:I honestly don't know either. I took the name from [http://alabamamaps.ua.edu/historicalmaps/topos/jefferson75min.html UA's historical maps] page. I remembered the property as belonging to the Shriners, but it was one of those places I never actually went to, just drove by all the time. Why not ask your father next time you speak to him? --[[User:Lkseitz|Lkseitz]] 10:52, 6 December 2006 (PST) | :I honestly don't know either. Typo
Is there a word like "million" missing in "$16.9 purchase price"? --Lkseitz 12:28, 5 December 2006 (PST)
- yes. --Dystopos 12:37, 5 December 2006 (PST)
Hillcrest Country Club
I don't know if Hillcrest was the "official" name, but this was the former site of the Zamora Shrine Temple, before it moved to Irondale. There was a swimming pool and a golf course. I spent many summers in the pool as well as going on Easter Egg hunts on the golf course, and going to Christmas parties inside the temple. My father is a Shriner. --Wheresdib 09:35, 6 December 2006 (PST)
