The Locust Fork Band is a local rock and country band formed in Tuscaloosa in 1974. They play some original songs, and covers of songs by classic rock bands such as the Allman Brothers Band, Marshall Tucker Band, and Dan Folgerberg, and country singer Patsy Cline, among others. LFB has played City Stages twice (1989 and 1998), and played PhillipsFest in 2005, allowing Marc Phillips to play keyboard during a song. IN 2004, LFB recorded a 30th anniversary album at WorkPlay. Band members have included Bill Marshall, Kent Peterson, Dwight Williams, Robert O'Neal, Nida Threet, Rick Byrd, and Robert Churchill.
