The Talladega Encampment is an overnight event sponsored by the Greater Alabama Boy Scout Council at the Talladega Superspeedway. In 2008 the event attracted over 10,000 participants from across the state. Activities included craft demonstrations, hands-on workshops, vendor displays, concerts and a fireworks show.
