Gardendale's First Baptist Church is located at 940 Main Street in Gardendale. The church has approximately 8000 members. The pastor is Rev. Kevin Hamm, who has held that position since April 2006.
The church is currently working on plans for a new campus on land already purchased at Mount Olive Road and Interstate 65.
