Golden & Associates Construction LLC is a family-owned construction firm, founded in 1997 by Geoff Golden.
In its first year, Golden had six employees and earned $1 million in revenue. Greg Pyburn joined the company as vice-president in 1999. By 2004 the company employed 40 people and had revenues of $17.5 million.
Golden's offices are located in a former Birmingham Water Works mechanical and electrical building building at 2214 1st Avenue South. They renovated the 10,000 square-foot historic structure for their headquarters in 2005, moving from a smaller office space in the nearby Bebco building.
In 2007 the company was named "Contractor of the Year" by the Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama.
