- March 17: James Benetos, 32, partner with his brother in a grocery store at 36th Street and 10th Avenue North, died from gunshot wounds suffered in a March 10 dispute with Luby Stevens, a driver for the Excelsior Bakery, over 25 cents in change.
- September 1: Luby Stevens, 23, succumbed to his gunshot wounds from the same March 10 dispute with Benetos.
