The 2008 Mountain Brook municipal election was be held in Mountain Brook to elect the Mayor of Mountain Brook and fill two open seats on the five-member Mountain Brook City Council. The non-partisan at-large election took place in August 2008.

- Terry Oden (incumbent, unopposed), elected to a fourth term
City Council

- Jack Carl: 1,647 votes, winner
- Tom Clark: (incumbent, withdrew in July)
- Kelly Bownes: 1,008 votes

- Virginia Smith (incumbent, unopposed)
