Anthony Smith (born c. 1973) is a former member of the Homewood City Council representing Ward 1.
As a boy, Smith was a Boy Scout. He was first elected to the City Council in 2004. He ran unopposed in 2008.
Smith resigned from the Council effective February 29, 2012 because he and his wife had purchased and were moving to a new home in a different ward of Homewood. At his resignation, Smith's fellow councilors praised him, particularly for the fiscal policy ordinance he drafted.
