Antony Osborne

Antony Osborne, a native of Wales, is the dean of Culinard, the culinary institute of Virginia College at Birmingham. He is one of the top pastry chefs in the world, most recently honored by Pastry Art and Design magazine in 2006.

From January 2004 to March 2005. Osborne was the head of the pastry program at the school. He was hired from William Angliss College in Melbourne, Australia where he was a pastry consultant.

Osborne became the executive pastry chef at the Dorchester Hotel in London at the age of 25. Since then he was worked in dozens of countries all over the world, including stops at the Oriental in Bangkok, where he catered for the royal family, the Nagoya Hilton in Japan, Raffles Hotel in Singapore and the Palace Hotel in Switzerland.

Osborne is married to the former Supreeya Oonlamai and they have one son, Peekay.
