BancorpSouth Bank

BancorpSouth Bank is a Tupelo, MS-based bank which has branches in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Tennessee and Georgia. BancorpSouth entered the Birmingham market in 1998 with its purchase of Highland Bank. Locally, the bank operates branches in Birmingham as well as nearby Hoover, Leeds and Moody. It currently has a branch in Trussville under construction.
