Beal Bank is a bank based in Plano, Texas which formerly operated in the Birmingham District.

Beal, which has branches in several major metropolitan areas, acquired the assets of New South Federal Savings Bank for $1.2 billion when that thrift failed on December 18, 2009.

In 2010 the bank downsized and relocated its 7,000 square-foot local office on Automation Way near Crestwood Boulevard in Irondale to a 1,800 square-foot space at The Hollywood at 404 Hollywood Boulevard near U.S. Highway 280. By 2022 that branch was being operated by FirstBank of Nashville, Tennessee.
