Beechwood is a residential subdivision in the Inglenook neighborhood of Birmingham. It was developed in 1949.

In 1956 Beechwood residents formed a Beechwood Home Owners Association to protest expansion of the runway at the Birmingham Municipal Airport. Troy Watts, a draftsman at the Continental Gin Company, was its president.
