Birmingham Arts Journal Spring 2012 issue

The Birmingham Arts Journal is a quarterly literary and visual arts journal published by its volunteer staff and showcasing submitted work from primarily local artists and writers. Jim Reed is the editor and his wife Liz edits the artwork submissions. Irene Latham is poetry editor and Kathy Jolley is production editor.

The journal debuted in 2004 and was supported in part by the Birmingham Art Association until 2008. Current sponsors include the Emmett O'Neal Mountain Brook Public Library, Reed Books, Latham's Hair Clinic, Leeds Arts Council, and the Hackney Literary Awards committee.
