Birmingham Fire Station No. 5 was the Birmingham Fire Department's station for the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport until 2022.
The station was located at 5601 East Lake Boulevard, it housed Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) trucks, combination units, and a tender. The station was staffed by a combination of Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service personnel, state personnel, and Air National Guard personnel from the 117th Air Refueling Wing.
The fire company moved to that location from an older single-bay station which operated one 750-gallon pumper at 1300 19th Street North in Fountain Heights.
