Brantley Fry

Anna Brantley Fry (born 1973 in Birmingham) is an environmental attorney and consultant, currently serving as state director for the office of Senator Doug Jones. She is a former executive director of Black Warrior Riverkeeper and interim executive director and policy director for the Green Resource Center for Alabama.

Fry graduated from the Altamont School in 1991 and enrolled in Hollins College (now Hollins University) in Virginia, where she earned her bachelor's degree in environmental law in 1995. She then completed her law degree at the environmental law center at Vermont Law School in South Royalton, Vermont in 2000.

After college, Fry began working as a legislative researcher and environmental consultant in Washington D.C., helping to craft policy papers on environmental matters. She joined the Black Warrior Riverkeeper as executive director in June 2006 and left after one year. She opened her own Brantley Fry & Associates LLC firm in 2009 and is currently working under contract to Montgomery's Beasley Allen law firm on behalf of property owners affected by the Tennessee Valley Authority coal ash spill in Kingston, Tennessee.

Fry has also served as vice-president of the Altamont School Alumni Association. She is married to John Wilson and has two sons, Carlisle and Walker. They are members of Saint Mary's-on-the-Highlands Episcopal Church, on behalf of which she serves as co-liaison to the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama's Task Force for the Stewardship of Creation.
