CRC Insurance Services, Inc. is a Birmingham-based wholesale porperty and casualty insurance broker, with headquarters at 1 Metroplex Drive in Homewood near Brookwood Medical Center. CRC was founded in 1982 by Tom Curtin, who still serves as CEO and Chairman. In 2002, CRC was acquired by North Carolina-based BB&T Corp. Currently, CRC is the nation's leading wholesale insurance broker, with offices across the country.
