Calera High School is a public school serving grades 9-12 in the Shelby County Schools system located at 100 Calera Eagle Drive in Calera. The principal is Richard Bishop. Prior to 2008, the school existed as part of Calera Middle High School, a combined junior high school and high school serving grades 6-12.

Calera's colors are blue and white and its athletic teams, called the Eagles, compete in the AHSAA Class 3-A, Region 3.

The first high school in Calera was organized by the community in 1885, but did not survive. Shelby County built the first public school for grades 1-12 in 1927. A new high school building was completed in 1977 on the same site, serving grades 6-12. The school was renovated and expanded in 1999.

The new 170,000 square-foot two-story high school building was completed in the summer of 2008. It was designed by Lathan Associates and constructed by McCrory Building Company.
