Chase Bays is a designer and manufacturer of high-end aftermarket fluid transfer products for automobiles. The company was founded in 2007 by Chase McMaster. After two years in California, McMaster moved the business back to the Birmingham area, working from space in Argo and Pelham before settling in at 3116 4th Avenue South in Lakeview.
Originally Chase Bays produced wiring harnesses as well as fluid products, but the wiring division was sold off in 2016, resulting in greater profitability and growth. In 2018 the company purchased the 19,000 square foot former Graphics Warehouse building at 915 5th Avenue North. McMaster plans to build loft residences on the upper floor for himself and for lease.
