City Paper is a wholesaler of retail packaging products and supplies. The family-owned company was founded in Birmingham in 1897. Paul Friedman, Jr is the President and CEO.

Its offices are currently located at 3700 1st Avenue North with its 44,160 square-foot warehouse operation at the Birmingham Food Terminal and Distribution Center off Finley Boulevard. The company also maintains showrooms at the Dallas World Trade Center, the Atlanta Gift Mart and the Chicago Merchandise Mart.
