The Cooper Green Parking Deck is a 3-story parking deck located at 1515 6th Avenue South adjacent to Cooper Green Hospital in the Birmingham Medical District. It is bounded by 6th and 7th Avenue South and by 14th and 15th Street South. The deck is owned and operated by the Birmingham Parking Authority. It was built in 1974 in conjunction with Cooper Green Hospital and contains 915 parking spaces.
Public access is available in this lot.
In August 2022 UAB proposed to build a 405,000 square-foot, 1,200-space parking parking deck on the site of the Cooper Green Deck. The projected cost of the project is $32 million.
