Dave Miller is an Americasn saxophonist, arranger, composer and harmonica player residing in Birmingham, Alabama. His saxophone stylings reflect the influence of stan Gettz and Joe Henderson, while his chromatic harmonica playing reveals influences such as Toots Thielemans and Stevie Wonder. He is a member of notable jazz groups Ray Reach and Friends, the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame All-Stars, the Magic City Jazz Orchestra, the Night Flight Big Band, and is founder of the group Jazza-Nova. A veteran of the crusie ship bands, Dave studied at the University of Alabama, under noted jazz educators Steve Sample, Sr and Ray Reach.
