Derrick L. Billups (born c. 1975) is the director of education and workforce development for the Woodlawn Foundation. He previously taught science and served as an assistant principal in the Birmingham, Jefferson County and Hoover school systems, and coached basketball at Advent Day School.

Billups earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Alabama in 1998 and worked for two years as a chemical plant operator for Sloss Industries. He has since completed a master's in divinity at Samford University in 2004 and a master’s in education at Alabama in 2012.

Billups has served on the Birmingham Tech Council advisory committee and the South Side Baseball board of directors. He has been involved with Youth Leadership Forum, Hope Street Ministries Outreach, and the Church of the Highlands' Dream Center.
