Don Drennen Overpass in May 2006.

The Don Drennen Overpass or Ensley viaduct is a 1,590 foot long, steel-span viaduct over the Birmingham Southern Railroad Yard in the Ensley community of northwest Birmingham. Opening to traffic in 1954, the bridge was designed and built by W.C. Howton Contracting, and bisects the abandoned TCI Ensley Works. Currently the bridge carries traffic for Alabama State Highway 269.
