Dunbar Hotel

The New Dunbar Hotel was a full-service hotel open to African Americans in the 1930s. It occupied the same location as the former Hotel Dunbar at 323½ 17th Street North. It was managed by James Barnes in 1935 and by Notable B. Smith in 1937-1939.
