Emmet O'Neal (born 1921 in Birmingham; died November 2, 2004 in Birmingham) was the chairman of O'Neal Steel.

O'Neal was the son of Kirkman and Elizabeth (Paramore) O'Neal, the grandson of former Governor of Alabama Emmet O'Neal, and great-grandson of Governor Edward O'Neal.

He completed preparatory school in 1939 at the Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He joined the family business in 1946. After succeeding his father as president and chairman, O'Neal guided the company through an extended period of expansion and diversification.

O'Neal died in 2004. Mountain Brook's Emmet O'Neal Library is named in his honor.
