Friendship Baptist Church is located at 2600 Central Avenue in the Rosedale section of Homewood. It was founded by the Reverend T. B. Davis in 1926, a former pastor of Union Missionary Baptist Church after he left that church. Meetings were held in the John H. Jones Mercantile store until the present building was completed.
